2025 Student side-by-side performance

For the second year in a row the Reno Chamber Orchestra will welcome local string players, high-school age and younger, to audition to play in concert with the RCO!

For the 2025 Side-by-Side performance the Reno Chamber Orchestra will play

Barber's Adagio for Strings. You can watch a video of the piece here.

To audition, prepare a video of yourself playing excerpts of Barber's Adagio for Strings, on your instrument. Sheet music of these excerpts can be found here.

Selected musicians will rehearse with the RCO on the following dates:

Thursday, May 15 @ 7 pm

Friday, May 16 @ 7 pm

Saturday, May 17 @ 10 am 

Saturday, May 17 @ 7 pm

Our performance will be held at Nightingale Concert Hall on

Sunday, May 18 @ 2 pm
