The Reno Chamber Orchestra is set to hold auditions for Principal 2nd Violin and Section Violin. 

 

Please send a one-page resume to personnel@renochamberorchestra.org and also denote which of the two positions you are auditioning for (either Principal 2nd Violin or Section Violin).

 

Please note that the RCO will reimburse up to $300.00 for domestic travel and provide housing for the Principal 2nd Violin position ONLY — for Section Violin contracts, travel and housing are the sole responsibility of the individual. 

 

Resumes are due by Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. All candidates will be informed if they are invited to audition no later than Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

 

Auditions will take place Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at the University of Nevada, Reno.  

 

Please do NOT book your travel to Reno until you have been invited to audition.
