The Reno Chamber Orchestra seeks candidates for the position of RCO Executive Director.
Reporting to the Board President and working in partnership with the Music Director, the Executive Director will be a communicative and hands on administrative team leader who will direct and implement all operations, including concerts and events, ticket sales and fund-raising initiatives, while managing budgets and expenses for sound financial management. The successful candidate must also have excellent written communication skills.
Responsibilities include contract negotiations with musicians, guest artists, guest conductors, venues and community partners; planning and coordination of the Nevada Chamber Music Festival; ticket sales and annual fund campaigns; staff management, financial management and reporting, as well as to provide leadership for strategic planning initiatives. The Executive Director serves as the chief spokesperson for the Reno Chamber Orchestra.
