The RCO has announced its exciting 2009-2010 season! Maestro Theodore Kuchar will be back for his seventh season as RCO Music Director, once again leading the tremendous local musicians of our Orchestra in all five of the season’s concerts.Our featured guest artists include:

Joshua Smith, who has been principal flutist of the Cleveland Orchestra since he was twenty years old.

Derek Han, who has become a Reno favorite through his many appearances at the RCO’s Nevada Chamber Music Festival.

Violinist Shannon Lee, the acclaimed teenaged virtuoso who recently made her recording debut on the prestigious Telarc label.

The winner of our 2010 College Concerto Competition.

Cellist Zuill Bailey, one of the RCO’s all-time favorite guests, and now also a best-selling Telarc recording artist.
